Upgrade of Sunshine Coast busiest intersection to compensate for an ever-growing population. Works included reconfiguration of traffic lanes, construction of new turning lanes including granular pavement construction and asphalting, new pedestrian islands and upgrades to cyclist infrustructure, traffic signal and street lighting upgrade, works included the addition of a U-turn facility on Dalton Dr to ease congestion and provide greater access to local retailers.
